Shipping Policy
1. Processing vs. Shipping Time Because your custom enamel pins are made entirely from scratch, please note that there is a significant manufacturing period before your order actually ships.

Production Time: Custom enamel pin production typically takes 13-19 days after you have formally approved your digital proof. Complex designs or large bulk orders may take longer.

Shipping Time: This is the time it takes for the postal carrier to deliver the package to you after production is complete and the package leaves our hands.
2. Shipping Rates and Methods We offer several shipping options to meet your needs. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your package and your location.

Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $50 within the US.
3. International Shipping We happily ship worldwide! International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Please note that transit times for international orders can vary greatly (typically 7-21 business days) depending on the destination country and local postal services.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes: ProperPins is not responsible for any international customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, VAT, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the customer. If a package is returned to us because of unpaid customs fees, we can reship it at the buyer's expense, but no refunds will be issued for custom goods.
4. Order Tracking Once your custom pins have finished production and are packed up, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will typically become active within 24-48 hours.
5. Incorrect Shipping Addresses Please double-check your shipping address at checkout! We will ship your order to the exact address provided.

If you notice a mistake, please contact us at info@properpins.com immediately. If the package has not shipped yet, we will happily update it.

If the package has already been shipped to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, we are not responsible for the lost package, and we cannot issue a refund or free remake. If the package is returned to us by the carrier, we will gladly reship it to the correct address at the buyer's expense.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages Once we hand your package over to the shipping carrier, they assume responsibility for its transit.

Damaged in Transit: If your pins arrive damaged due to rough handling by the carrier, please contact us within 7 days with photos of the damaged packaging and pins, and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.

Lost or Stolen: If your tracking information shows that the package was "Delivered" but you cannot find it, please check with neighbors, your local post office, or wait 1-2 extra business days, as carriers sometimes mark packages delivered prematurely. We are not liable for packages that are stolen from your porch or mailbox after confirmed delivery.
